The amplitude of the wave is the maximum displacement of the wave above or below the mean position.
The amplitude of the coil is the distance of the coil wire from the center of the coil. If the distance becomes more, then the space inside the coil increases. So, the volume of the coil increases. The density of the coil decreases due to increase in the volume of the coil. The density of the coil decreases due to an increase in the amplitude of the coil.
