Summary Introduction
A muscular organ that pumps blood to all the parts of the body by a closed vascular network is called heart and it is divided into four chambers. The two upper chambers are left ventricles and right ventricles and two lower chambers are left atrium and right atrium. Sinoatrial node, a bundle of His, atrioventricular node, and Purkinje fibers are the four masses of extremely specialized cells present in conduction tissue (specialized cardiac tissue) that possess characteristics of both cardiac and nervous tissue.
