In the modern economic context, organizations has to change and transform in order to survive in the dynamic business environment. The changes has to be implemented efficiently and effectively to drive the performance of the organization forward. There are many issues faced by organizations to implement change such as inertia, sceptics, resistance and insecurity. The leaders or managers should implement change step by step as it will be impractical to adopt and implement change all at once. Further, implementing change rapidly will lead to many unfavourable consequences especially if it is labour intensive. Change management is the process of planning, implementing, controlling and reviewing the transformation from its current state to the desired state.
