The energy in U.S. is used in various fields like homes, transportation, industries, agriculture etc.

The residential, commercial and transportation areas in United States (U.S.) covers approximate 70% of all electrical energy. In these areas most of energy comes by burning of the fossil fuel and rest comes from geothermal, wind mill, biomass and nuclear power.

Conclusion:

70 percent of all electrical energy are used in residential, commercial and transportation areas in United States (U.S.).
