Introduction:
Test cross is the genetic cross between an individual that has dominant phenotype in specific trait to homozygous recessive for these specific traits. Sepia eyes, spineless bristle, and striped body these three alleles are recessive in Drosophila found on chromosome 3.
A cross is done between a fly homozygous for the alleles encoding sepia eyes, spineless bristle, and striped with a fly homozygous for the wild type alleles codes for sepia eyes, spineless bristle, and striped body. Interference among the genes is given as 0.2. The female progeny are test crossed with male that have sepia eyes, normal bristles and striped body.
