To determine:
The possibility, if any, ethical issues might arise from the epidemic use of noninvasive prenatal genetic diagnosis, which can be carried out much earlier than amniocentesis or chronic villus sampling.
Introduction:
Genetic testing is done to detect for a genetic condition at an early stage. Genetic testing facilitates early intervention and restricts the development of a serious genetic condition. Earlier, amniocentesis and chorionic villus sampling is used for diagnosis of uncertainty in genetic condition in fetus. Now a days genetic testing involves prenatal and postnatal testing. Noninvasive prenatal genetic diagnosis has no risk associated with fetus and it examined fetal DNA directly present in mother blood.
