Interpretation Introduction

Interpretation:

The computer-generated phase portraits of the nonlinear system given in the exercises $\text{6}\text{.3}\text{.1}$ to $\text{6}\text{.3}\text{.6}$ are to be plotted and these should be compared to the portraits approximately sketched in the same exercises.

Concept Introduction:

The trajectories of the dynamic system are called phase portrait.

Phase portrait gives the qualitative behavior of the solutions of a differential equation.

It can be plotted using a computer.
