Internet History:

• Internet is started in the year 1960s as a way for government researchers to share information.
• In the year 1962, the global network was first proposed by the J.C.R. Licklider of MIT and moved over to the DARPA (Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency) after 1962 he take the responsibility to develop it.
• The theory of packet switching was developed by the Leonard Kleinrock of MIT and later UCLA.
• In the year 1965, Lawrence Roberts of MIT connected a California computer with the Massachusetts computer through dial-up telephone lines.
• The result of this connection is more feasible for wide area networking, but also exposed that the telephone line circuit switching was insufficient.
