Concept introduction:

Gaseous molecules are always in the random motion so they colloid with other molecules and also with the wall of container. The collision between wall of container and molecules exert some pressure on wall of container that is called as gas pressure. As the gaseous particles increases, the gas pressure also increases. When gas containers are connected to connecting tubes the volume of gas is equal to the sum of volume of containers and connecting tubes.

For two different conditions of pressure and volume, mathematical expression is given by:
