Summary Introduction

To draw: The normal pattern for the blood concentrations of LH and FSH during a cycle and the pattern of LH and FSH over the course of 28 days in a woman taking a contraceptive pill that contains estradiol and progesterone.

Introduction: Contraceptive methods are defined as techniques to prevent pregnancy and STD. These techniques prevent the ovum and sperm from fertilization or inhibit the implantation of the embryo in the endometrium. The benefits of choosing a contraceptive method are safety, effectiveness, functional duration, easy to use and no interfere with the sex life. Drug-dependent methods include the use of oral contraceptive pills. The oral contraceptive pills are of two types, combined contraceptive pills, and estrogen pills. The combined contraceptive pills are prepared from the combination of progesterone and estrogen, or they can simply be progesterone pills.
