Concept Introduction:
Mass conservation equation states that the total mass (as a product of density and volume) of fluid flowing through a non-disrupted flow is always constant. Based on this, Bernoulli’s theorem is formulated that additionally considers the pressure drop formed in such cases. However, the key factors for Bernoulli’s principle are friction factor (for real flows), pressure drop, height of pipeline from datum and various flow losses.
