Introduction: A burn is damage to tissues of the body caused by sunlight, radiation, chemicals, heat, and electricity. Based on the severity of damage to the skin, there are three types of burns, namely first-degree burns, second-degree burns, and third-degree burns. The depth of injury identifies the level of tissue destruction.
