The objective is to determine which lines are parallel or perpendicular.
To determine whether the lines are parallel or perpendicular, find the slopes of lines a, b, and c .
The slope of a line is the ratio of difference of y coordinate to x coordinate .
Therefore, the slope of line a is,
ma=1−3−2−0=−2−2=1
The slope of line b is,
mb=1−44−6=−3−2=32
Similarly, the slope ofline c is,
mc=3−11−4=2−3=−23
Since the slopes of line a, b and c are different, therefore, lines a, b and c are not parallel to each other.
But, the slope of lines b and c is negative inverse of each other.
That is,
