(Learning Objective: students will be able to apply their knowledge of the built-in random package to generate simulations of simple phenomena.)
Write a function:
• dicesim(D1,D2,trials) that takes as input the number of sides on die 1 (D1) and die2 (D2) and the number of trials. Your function should repeatedly sum pairs of random numbers between 1 and D1 and 1 and D2 and keep
track of how many times each sum occurs. The function returns a numpy array with the fraction each sum of rolls occured.
Since the numbers are chosen at random, the fractions will differ some from run to run. One run of the function print(p22.dicesim(6,6,10000)) resulted in:

Description
FRIDAY THE 13TH
When will Friday the 13th occur in 1990? Write a program that will
find all months in 1990 in which the 13th falls on a Friday.
You need to know the following.
1. January 1, 1990 was on a Monday.
2. September, April, June, and November have thirty days, all the rest
have 31 except for February which has 28 except in leap years when it has 29.
3. 1990 is not a leap year.
Note: To make it fair for everyone, you may not use any built-in date
functions from your computer language.
Sample Output if Applicable
Sample Run
In 1990, Friday the 13th occurs in the months:

What is the reading of the thermometer at t = 1 min? Assume that the rate of change of temperature in time is proportional to the difference between the thermometer's temperature and the air temperature. Type your answer in °F in the space provided below. - Statistics are often calculated with varying amounts of input data. Write a program that takes any number of non-negative integers as input, and outputs the average (using integer division) and max. A negative integer ends the input and is not included in the statistics. Ex: When the input is: 15 20 0 5 -1 the output is: 10 20 Assume that at least one non-negative integer is input.arrow_forwardQuestion 2: Write a program to read student ID and check whether it is odd/even number. The program should ask for the following data: The starting size of a population P The annual birth rate (as a percentage of the population expressed as a fraction in decimal form)B The annual death rate (as a percentage of the population expressed as a fraction in decimal form)D The average annual number of people who have arrived A The average annual number of people who have moved away M The number of years to display nYears Write a function that calculates the size of the population after a year. Rolling two dice produces a number between 2 and 12 with a binomial distribution. In this lab you will simulate a number of dice rolls and graph the number of occurrences of each value. 1) Create a function called rollDie() that takes no parameters, and returns a random value between 1 and 6. Do not seed the random number generator in this function. int rollDie() 2) Create a function called initArray() that takes a data array and the size of the array as parameters and fills each element with the summed results of rolling two dice. Do not assume that the data array has been initialized. void initArray(int data[], int size) 3) Create a function called sortArray() that takes an array and the size of the array as parameters, and sorts the array using the sediment sort. void sortArray(int data[], int size) The sediment sort works as follows: start with the second element in the array if…arrow_forward
- Modify the above program to compute the side area, total area, and volume of a cylinder and the area and volume of a sphere, depending on the choice that the user makes. Your program should ask users to enter 1 to choose cylinder or 2 for sphere, and display an "invalid choice error" for other values. For a cylinder, we want to compute: Side area: (2*PI*r) * h Total Area: 2*(PI*r2) + Side area Volume: (PI*r2)*h For a sphere, we want to compute: Surface area: 4*PI*r2 Volume: (4.0/3.0)*PI*r3.
