Chapter 39, Problem 10TYK
Summary Introduction
Introduction: Phytochrome is a blue-green pigment or a photoreceptor present in plants. These pigments regulate several light-dependent developmental processes in plants. Some are germination of seeds, timing of flowering, and elongation of seedlings. Phytochrome is expressed in most of the plant tissues.
