An allergy is considered as a common form of type I hypersensitivity reaction. In Greek the term allergy “allos” indicates other and “ergon” indicates work. An individual may develop an allergic reaction when he has generated IgE antibody in response to the primary exposure to an allergen or antigen subsequently encounters the same antigen.
