Agonistic behavior − Threatening or combative interaction between two individuals of the same species. It is a social behavior of fighting.

Dominance hierarchies − Ranking within a group, in which a top-ranked animal gets access to resources without conflict from other animals. Here, organisms of a group interact to form a ranking system.

Territorial behaviors − Attempts to adopt and control a physical area against the other animals of the same species. Territorial boundaries are made by sounds like bird song, and body odors.

Foraging behaviors − Finding and eating food. This behavior includes all the methods that help an organism to find and utilize energy sources.

Altruistic behavior − Action that benefits another individual the cost of another. In such behaviors, an individual sometimes harm itself only. It is an act of selflessness.
