Introduction: Moss is a small and simple plant which belongs to the bryophyte. Moss contains two generations in their life cycle: dominant gametophyte generation and dependent sporophyte generation. The dependent sporophyte produces spores in their sporangium which on germination results in the production of the gametophyte.
