Introduction:

In an ecosystem, the effects of abiotic factors are very important for the survival of species. The limiting factors are the abiotic factors that may limit the growth of population after a certain number.

Explanation of Solution

The movement of the penguin to a hotter region caused the change in their body temperature. The temperature is responsible for performing the metabolic functions according to the adaptations of the organism. The change in the temperature also caused the change in the food they were eating as a result of metabolic failure and food unavailability due to the temperature caused the death of penguin. Hence, temperature is a limiting factor here.
