Electrons of helium atom are closer to nucleus than the electron in hydrogen atom.
Explanation of Solution
The electron of hydrogen atom would be far away to its nucleus than those of helium atom because helium atom contains twopositively charged protons within its nucleus. The strength of positively charged protons is much stronger than that of negatively charged electrons. Thus negatively charged electrons move closer towards the nucleus than the single positively charged proton in the nucleus of hydrogen.
