Introduction:
Adenovirus is a virus that was isolated from the adenoids of young children. The family of adenoviruses comprises of about 80 strains of non-enveloped, double stranded DNA viruses including 30 types that infect humans. Some adenoviruses are oncogenic in animals but none of them has so far been implicated in a human cancer.
