Natural polymers are found in nature while synthetic polymers are prepared in laboratories. Composites are made by altering properties of a synthetic polymer.

New polymers and composites are made in labs to enhance their performance when compared to naturally occurring polymers. Polymers and composites are manufactured according to the required use. In other words, properties of materials made in labs can be customized to meet requirements.

Conclusion:

Synthetic polymers and composites are found in everyday materials like paint, clothes, computers, cars etcetera.
