The infection caused by pathogenic fungus is called the fungal infection. The fungi and fungal spores are ubiquitous which means that they are present everywhere in the environment such as in water, soil, air, and on or in most of the multicellular organisms. However, the ubiquitous nature of fungi does not always cause infection to individuals, some fungal species are also have beneficiary effects.
