Introduction:

Histoplasmosis is a disease caused by a fungus called Histoplasma capsulatum. The primary organ affected by this disease is lungs, and the symptoms of this infection include difficulty in breathing, coughing and other respiratory disorders. This fungus is generally found in moist soil that has high nitrogen content.
