The equation for constructive interference is given by,

Calculation:

For the thinnest film, m=0

Substituting for m and n in equation (1) ,

  2t = (12)λnfilm

  t = (14)λnfilm (2)

Substituting the numerical values in equation (2) ,

  t = (521 nm)4×1.33= 97.9 nm
