Concept introduction:
In the present case study, the prisoners of Utah tried to make beverage known as “pruno”. In the practice of making pruno, somebody added baked potato which was week old. This led to the introduction of microbe. Prisoners who consumed pruno developed vomiting, difficulty swelling, muscle weakness, and double vision.

The forms of treatment that is used to avoid worst outcome of the disease.
Concept introduction:
As a consequence of consumption of contaminated pruno, prisoners developed food-borne botulism which is caused by Clostridium botulism. They developed muscle weakness, double vision, vomiting, and difficulty swelling.
