Introduction:
An unwanted reaction that develops by the immune system is termed as “hypersensitivity”. It involves allergy and autoimmunity. Hypersensitivity is of four types that are type I, type II, type III, and type IV.
As given in the case, two boys are suffering with autoimmune diseases. One has Bruton-type agammaglobulinemia and the other has DiGeorge syndrome. During a camping trip, both the boys have stung by a bee, and each falls into poison ivy.
