Explanation of Solution
Introduction:
Concave mirror is the mirror in which inner surface is acting as the reflecting surface. The light rays reflected from the concave mirror are converging and hence concave mirror is also called converging mirror.
The light rays which are travelling parallel to the optical axis and strikes the outer edges of the concave mirror are not reflected through the focal point of that mirror. Hence the image produced is slightly blurry. This effect is known as spherical aberration. The design of the mirror and also the quality of material used for the preparation of mirrors are the main causes for observed spherical aberration in mirrors. Because the low grade materials and large bubbles in the mirrors have a great impact on light reflection from that mirrors.
