Interpretation:

The way in which $\text{Ala-Gly}$ and $\text{Gly-Ala}$ are different dipeptides is to be shown.

Concept Introduction:

Two amino acids react to form a peptide molecule called a dipeptide. Dipeptide has an amine group ${\text{(-NH}}_{\text{2}}\text{)}$ on one end and a carboxylic acid group $\text{(-COOH)}$ on the other. The $\text{N}$ terminal amino acid is the end having a free amino group and $\text{C}$ terminal amino acid is the end having a free carboxyl group.
