Introduction: DNA (deoxynucleic acid) forms the genome of any organism and it can be described as long double-helical strands which are made up of a sequence of nucleotides. The DNA is extremely long and thus is packed compactly. The negatively charged DNA wraps around the positively charged protein resulting in the formation of nucleosome which looks like beads on a string. This formation compacts further finally forming the most compact structure of the genome known as chromosomes.
