Chapter 14.2, Problem 16AYP
Summary Introduction
To determine:
The structural and functional differences between direct and indirect pathways.
Introduction:
The spinal cord is a long, slim, cylindrical structure made up of sensory tissue, which reaches out from the medulla oblongata in the brainstem to the lumbar locale of the vertebral section. It encases the focal canal of the spinal string, which contains cerebrospinal liquid. The mind and spinal line together make up the central nervous system (CNS).

The following data, presented by G. Bowes and W. L. Ogre in J. Biol. Chem. (1972) 247:2171–2176, describe the relative rates of incorporation of CO2 by Rubisco under N2 and under pure O2. Decide whether O2 is a competitive or uncompetitive inhibitor.
