Question
Chapter 14, Problem 12RQ
Summary Introduction
To review:
The following:
1. The roots to and the constitution of a spinal nerve.
2. The location of the dorsal and ventral roots.
3. The branches of the spinal nerve and the basic region of the body supplied with each branch.
Introduction:
Spinal nerves originate from the spinal cord of the central nervous system. 31 pairs of spinal nerves exist which are named on the basis of the region of the vertebral column they originate from. A spinal nerve is regarded as a mixed nerve carrying motor, sensory as well as autonomic signals.
