Chapter 13, Problem 4MCQ
Summary Introduction

Introduction:

The enzyme reverse transcriptase or RNA-dependent DNA polymerase is used to synthesize the complementary DNA from an RNA template. This process is often called as reverse transcription process. Viruses such as retrovirus, hepatitis B virus, and hepadna virus use the reverse transcriptase enzyme in their viral biosynthesis mechanism.
