Any living organisms that are not visible by naked eyes are said to be microorganisms, such as bacteria, fungi, protozoa and viruses. These organisms are classified under two categories: prokaryotic organisms and eukaryotic organisms. Prokaryotic organisms contain a cell wall but lack cell membrane bound organelles. Eukaryotic organisms contain a cell wall as well as cell bound organelles.
