Urinary tract infection is a type of infection which mainly affects ureters, kidney, bladder and urethra. Mostly urethra and bladder is affected. Mainly seen in womans then man usually between 20 to 50 years of age. In woman, cyctitics or pyelonephritis mainly involved while in man urethritis and prostatitis. Most bacteria involved are Escherichia coli ( 75 to 95% ), Klebsiella, Proteus mirabillis and Pseudomona aeruginosa. Gram positive include Staphyloccus saprophyticus, Enterococcus fecalis, Streptococcus agalatiae.
