Stoke's law was defined by George Gabriel Stokes in 1851, which is basically an equation with the help of which we can denote the frictional force or the drag force which is experienced by spherical objects with less Reynolds (prediction of patterns of flow in various fluid situations) number when exerting movements in a viscous fluid. Viscosity of any fluid is its resistance to deformation at a given rate, for example, water is more viscous than air and honey is much more viscous than water.
