Add gram iodine to the smear, let it sit for 60 seconds and rinse water
decolorize with 95% ethanolfoe 5-10 seconds and then rise with water
Blot dry with bibulous paper
Add safranin to the smear and let sit for 60 seconds, then rinse with water
Observe using oil immersion
