Honoring an Important Person
The person that I think should be honored is my grandma Becki.
I think she should be honored because she is really loving and caring person and would do anything for anyone, and she is also really amazing!
Becki does things, and helps with things for her friends and family, like last year someone at her work needed help with something,
So even though she was off work that day she came to the store and helped one of her friends at work. Also, she is really nice and funny, i remember when I was seven year old we went to the water park that had just opened by her old house, they had all these amazing things at the water park. There where these buckets that would fill up with water and someone would stand underneath

As Martin Luther King Jr. once said, “Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about the things that matter.” Michael Luther King was born on January 15, 1929 in Atlanta Georgia. His parents’ names were Alberta Williams and Martin Luther. You may be asking, who is Michael? That is the name Martin Luther King Junior was born with, but then had his name changed by his father when he was five years old. He grew up to be a very intelligent and gifted student because he skipped grades nine through twelve as he entered college at age fifteen. He then got a bachelor’s degree in sociology four years later, at age nineteen. As he grew up a little more, he went on in his life as a baptist minister. He then died on April 4th, 1968, at a very young
Off the top of your head who would you choose as MVP? Why do we spend so much time in a classroom? You can thank Horace Mann for that. He is the vital person that came up with public education. He should be a very notable person for everyone to know.

Monuments and memorials serve a special purpose that symbolize events and/or people that have made an impact. The Washington Memorial honors the first president of the U.S., George Washington, the Statue of Liberty is a universal symbol of freedom, and the World Trade Center honors those who were involved in 9/11. All of these monuments and memorials are very popular; however, there is a little known architectural masterpiece called Angkor Wat or “temple city” in Cambodia that is worthy of discussion.
She was the nicest girl in the world. I also had the best swim coach and she shared the same birthday with me. Mrs. Tessena was my first grade teacher and she really liked me because she had my brother in her class. Things in Ohio were
So why should we honor these people? Is it for them protecting our freedoms, or risking their lives for us and our country? What do we owe them for the great number of sacrifices they have made in their lives, or for their rare bravery which they possess? Maybe we owe veterans for not being simply ordinary; we owe them for being extraordinary. I believe it is a much simpler reason, we owe veterans because they are
Many people are honored for their leadership, impact, legacy, achievements and hospitality. At Columbus State University, there are multiple people that should be considered for an honor. Mary Blackmon started women’s athletics at CSU. Frank Brown , former president at CSU, transformed CSU from a commuter college into the massive university it is today. Thomas Whitley was the founding president at CSU. Carson McCullers was a well-known author in Columbus. All these people did something great for CSU. However, I believe John Townsend, the first African American student at CSU, is the one who deserves a statue .
It has been said, "I would rather die standing than live on my knees!" (Emiliano Zapata). All things are possible to a person who stands on the foundation of honor. The definition of honor is a high regard or respect; personal integrity; reputation; privilege (Webster’s Dictionary). The word honor comes from Latin Honos. Honor shapes lives everyday, and provides the glue that holds a family, community and country together.
