Vacation Memories One summer my family and I went to Texas to visit family. All of it was fun, going to the beach, indoor and outdoor pools, and cool restaurants. The best thing was when we went to a huge waterpark called Schlitterbahn. At the waterpark we went down some water slides, then we tricked my grandma to take a picture under the big bucket that dumps water. Right after we took picture the water dumped on her. After all the fun by the more pool section we went to go get tubes. We went down the rapids and after that it led to an opening where my dad and I got on a water slide ride called The Tornado. At the beginning it took us up like a rollercoaster, then we went through some tubes, swirling around and back up. At the end there
We were pulling up at the parking lot of Knott's soak city it was so full. I was so exited. First we had to get our tickets. Second we had to find some chairs. Then we went to a pool called The wave cove. And every 5 minutes waves would hit. It was so fun to swim over them. After that we went to a big water slide that was 50 feet tall. My little cousin went on one that was 4 feet tall. Then we ate pizza and salad. Then we went to the Lazy river that took you around Knott's soak city.
When i went Destin, Florida. I went to Florida this summer after school was out . We went with my sisters best friend, and my best friend’s family. We drove from Arkansas all the way to Destin, Florida. The day we got there we went straight to the beach! It was the first time I had ever seen the ocean! The following day we decided to go down to the smoothie shack and get a smoothie then swim in the pool. The grown ups went to the beach while we were at the pool.
Once we got to San Antonio we got lost for about 15 minutes because of a road contruction. It was fun with my girls we were singing, talking about there school and we saw diffrent park attractions and all kinds of other places. Finally at around 11:30 a.m we got to Harlingen, Texas at my sisters house safe and sound. But that didn't stop us , once we got there we just picked up my sister and my nephew and we headed to the beach of South Padre Island. We were almost there because you can start to smell the fresh salt water and see the big 2 mile stretch of the bridge. Once we arrived we parked right by the water on the sand. My girls just got off my car and started running towards the waves of water. Me and my sister watched while my nephew and my girls were splashing in the water. We really enjoyed that day. We had a barbeque and played volley ball, relaxed on top of a float in the
We went on a few more rides. Twisted Colossus was amazing. We twisted 360˚ a few times and went on steep downhills. Roaring Rapids made us cold. We talked and screamed with kids from other schools as waves splashed us.
As September begins to roll in, going on vacation gets a little trickier. School starts back, work ramps up, the days seem shorter. So yeah, it gets harder to get away – but it’s not impossible! Especially when you’ve got a last minute vacation deal from SunQuest Vacations within your reach!
Last summer before school started my sister and I were told that we were going on a trip to Ute Lake in New Mexico. We had never been to New Mexico before, so we were super excited. We were told that we were taking my dad's cousin's jet ski with us. My sister and I could not wait to go to New Mexico.
Since I was too young and too short to ride any rides, me and my sister went to the water park. The rides were still really big and scary, but also very fun at the same time, there was quite a few cool water slides that I
Last summer, I went to Chicago with all my distant family on my dads side. We stayed in a huge house by Chicago in Bloomingdale, Illinois. We stayed for a week and went shopping, played games together, swam in the pool at the house, and relaxed in the hot tub. It was super fun to be around my family all week.

The IMPACT program (Improving Mood – Providing Access to Collaborative Treatment) serves as the largest treatment trial for depression to date. The only sound that filled my ears was my keyboard clicking as my fingers raced across it. I had been procrastinating from finishing this assignment all evening, but I knew I needed to get it done. The burning sunset was shining through the windows as I was finishing up. It was a peaceful silence, until I heard the soft whispers of my parents that ignited my sense of curiosity. I was concentrating hard; doing my best trying to make out the hushed words that were being spoken.
It was a few days before our plane left for Cancun, Mexico. I was going on vacation for my parents tenth anniversary. I also got to go with some of my friends who were, Trent Gleeson, Luke Bader, and Josh Hagedorn. My friends and I all played football and we were going to miss a couple days of camp and weights so we planned to use the gym at the resort.
Spending quality time with family is one of my favorite childhood memories, whether it was spending time outdoors, playing ping pong, or watching a movie. My most meaningful family memory came from our vacation to Colorado back in 2004; yes, 2004. Although I don’t remember all of the events that transpired, I’m able to recall most of the memorable events that took place. It was a cool, misty morning in the Colorado Rocky Mountains, and I could distinctly hear the unmistakable elk calls that echoed through the mountains. The breeze gently scraped my face as I got into the car to begin the first day of our family vacation in Colorado. I could hear the car tires gently humming on the road during this cool, foggy, Colorado morning. As I looked past the lanky pine trees, glistening drops of dew formed on the tall grass, dancing with the wind. As we moved further down the road, I could see the tip of the sun barely begin to peek over the steep, snowy mountain peaks; however, the sun was soon covered by the misty Colorado clouds. This was it: our family vacation!
Have you ever been on a vacation to paradise that turned out to be a nightmare? That was the experience we had on our first foreign vacation as a family. We had been to Florida’s wonderful beaches many times during my childhood but then decided that we wanted to change things up a bit. We pondered where we wanted to go for our vacation and decided that it was a good idea to go talk with a travel agent. She recommended many destinations, but we decided on Cancun, Mexico.
