The most thought provoking question an individual can ask you is where do you see yourself in long period of time. This question tends to evoke a great deal of wondering, for the simple fact that the average person truly does not know. However, I am not an average person and I have a sense of where I will be in the next six years. Before I tell my future endeavors I want to brief description about myself, I see myself as a determined and driven person that will stop at nothing in order to be successful. These skills tie into my goals because, in the next six-year, I want to be a filmmaker as well a strong philanthropist in my community. The reason why the Jersey City Summer Internship Program can assist me with my goal is by providing me with
I was so excited to get a call back from Jackson Hewitt about starting my part-time internship in the Spring with them. In order to graduate in December, I had to continue to take a full course load of classes this semester. Therefore, I was happy I could find something locally in Tuscaloosa so that I could take classes at the same time while working part-time. It was tough at first managing my five classes, work-study, and internship all in one semester but I managed to pull through it successfully. With that being said, my internship at Jackson Hewitt was a success and I learned many wonderful things that could potentially benefit my future career.
My motivation is to be part of moving the U.S. government into the 21st century. The 115th Congress will face many challenges shaping U.S. technology policies and regulations. As a Congressional Innovation Intern, I will improve my capacity to effect change by applying my technology and policy skills to assisting with this effort. The internship will provide invaluable experience in learning how legislative change happens in Congress. Taken together, these will enhance my ability to effect the change I anticipate in my future career.
After conducting researches on both Principal Financial Group and New York Life Insurance Company, I would be more likely to choose to work at Principal Financial Group. Both companies have strong background. Also, the products (insurance, investment, retirement solution) and services they provide for their customer are almost similar. Two companies, Principal and New York Life help individuals to create a plan that is the best fit for each person and design to be achievable and effective. In addition, it is appeal to me that both companies value and respect their employees. New York Life have a diversity environment and provide training programs for their agents. On the other hand, Principal not only value their employees, but
Summer Jobs 253 will be benefit to my education, career objectives, and will also give me the chance to help my family. I come from a family of nine and live on a limited income. Working for Summer Jobs 253 can help me earn money for school supplies next year. *Although the Interns will be primarily recruited from the eight (8) feeder colleges and universities within Volusia County, the County’s Internship Program will also accept students whose primary residence is Volusia County but attending school in another city/state, or full-time degree seeking student from a local college or university who’s major will contribute to the enhancement of County services. This will allow Volusia County’s very own “home grown” students an opportunity to give back to the community in which he/she was raised by interning for the County.
I am Mikayla Paradis and I am currently attending Bemidji State University as a junior in the BSN program. I would love to have this great internship experience for the sole reasoning that I would enjoy to experience the atmosphere of rural healthcare. I currently work, and am enrolled in the clinical experience in the Bemidji-Sanford Hospital. In comparison, Fosston would open my eyes to a whole new population. I have worked for Essentia-Fosston in the past in a long term care facility as a registered nursing assistant, but with the experience would be very different in the shoes of a registered nurse.
There is a popular saying; “To get your foot in the door”. I believe that
As of January 24, 2017, of my spring semester at Saint Peters University, I began my internship with the Jersey City Police Department(JCPD). The JCPD is comprised of four districts: East, North, South, and west, throughout their precinct. Jersey City is a relatively large and diverse community, so in fact a range of departments are much needed throughout the city. From the time, I lived in Jersey City, the Jersey City police department has continuously ensured a progressive partnership with the community. The JCPD rely solely on four principles: Courtesy, Accountability, Respect and Excellence. Each of these principles are imbedded in ensuring a level fairness and equality throughout the community. Indeed, this level of partnership has driven
Thanks to the opportunity provided by Kristin Carpenter O’Steen at the State Attorney’s Office of the Sixth Judicial Circuit, Tyler Marth was given a tremendous educational and insightful experience through his internship. Tyler was able to learn about the day-to-day functions of state attorney’s and the judicial system by shadowing Assistant State Attorney Jacob Gordon. The intricacies of the legal system were on full display for Tyler as he was able to watch several court cases, such as a manslaughter trial, and was also able to take part in several pre-trials and calendars with attorneys Zane Thomas and Kristin Normandeau as he was able to watch these proceedings from the desk itself. The internship also gifted several other wonderful experiences
I would love to be a High School Insider Summer Intern this year because I have a passion for writing. I am a storyteller that loves to write and speak about what I write about. Since I am one of the younger students in high school, I have a young and fresh perspective on different events, so I believe I can add my perception and my creativity skills to the intern team and the Times. I am responsible, reliable, honest, bold, optimistic, outgoing, and affable. I can definitely work well with different types of people and I am someone who likes to lead and I am someone who likes to follow and support others. I also want to grow as a reporter, storyteller, and writer. I want to be able to use this experience and expand onto it later in the future.
For my internship for the spring semester of 2017, I interned at the Boys & Girls Club of Central Sonoma County. I volunteered three times a week at the Roseland Elementary club located in Santa Rosa. The Roseland Elementary club is the largest of the 32 Sonoma County clubs and has over 150 kids attending as club members every day. I was sent to this specific club with the intent of helping the 8 staff and program director with whatever they needed, whether it be cleaning around the club or helping sign kids in and out. Amongst my range of duties at the club was; helping the members with homework, helping sign members in and out, helping organize and clean the club, helping staff run their programs, helping with club huddle, and using the walkie talkie to communicate with other staff.
I am interested in applying for the Neighborhood Prototyping and Outreach Intern position because I want to help the Mission neighborhood to become much livable and affordable neighborhood. I hope to use this opportunity to become more involved with the neighborhood that I spent my summers in. The working experience the position will provide me is far more than work experience, it is what I can do to improve the current conditions of the neighborhood and make the changes useful for the residents. During last summer, I was a community real estate volunteer for the Mission Economic Development Agency, I assisted with community outreach within the Mission neighborhood and did research of the focused area. Therefore, I want to use this opportunity
The reason as to why I am applying for this summer program is because of the opportunity that it provides. Programs such as these gives the unique opportunity to explore multiple different career paths. But, not only does it provide a learning opportunity, it also allows a cultural one. Being able to travel and live in a foreign country at such a young age is one of the most memorable and amazing things that you can do. I believe that if accepted into this program, that I will do my very best to prove myself dedicated as a student because I want to spend my life learning and preparing myself for the real world as a careered woman. I have not yet solidified what I would like to be in the future, but as of this moment, I hope to possibly become
This year is passing really fast and plans are approaching as I think about my college, major, and how to pursue my career. My plans for the upcoming six months and next year plans is based on my career and major in college. My next six month plans going to be graduating from Harding first and have a diploma degree that I will be able to use to have a job in this summer related to my major. Probably find a summer internship in Minnesota Public Radio or Threesixty Journalism at University of St.Thomas in the communication department. I chose to be intern in these places, because I want to practice communication and Journalism/public relation. Currently, I work
During my school years, I focused on my grades but for the summer I go to summer programs, such as HCC or TSU, to learn about colleges and to have a personal experience on how interviews progress, etc. I also volunteer at the Houston Food Bank and commit to Pup Squad, this is an organization for helping to set up and adopt puppies and mothers who have been abandoned or abused by previous owners. I am a very dependable person, and I sacrificed myself to offer assistance when someone needs it. I also work well with others and take on difficult or inconspicuous responsibilities. It is my duty to help others who are in need of assistance and I’m willing to do the job.
