Makayla is definitely a sequence learner. I think that in Makayla situation, she should turn to her Confluence patterns. It would allow her to use the information gathered to take a risk that she is doing it the right way. It would be better to turn something in that is not exactly right, than to turn nothing in because you didn’t want to do it wrong. John John uses precision first, to help him in this situation; he needs to use his Technical Reasoning patterns. By using his technical reasoning he could put his ideas in a more understanding way for others. Paul Paul is a use first in technical reasoning; I think that he should use sequence, this way he would be prepared for his test. By taking notes, understanding the reading, and being

There is an important debate in education over the issue of homework. While experts on the use of homework have slightly different views, they ultimately come to the same conclusion. They believe homework should not be inefficient busy work. Homework should only be given if it is efficient and beneficial to the student.
For Makayla, I see sequence as something she needs to do in order to succeed. However, like anything else, there is a fine line on how much you should use it. In her situation, I believe she should learn to skip questions instead of over thinking them. Take some time away from it, and then come back. Ideas usually come to you if you just give it a little time. Also, you can sometimes find the answers through additional questions.
Sequence -28 -Use first because he wants clear directions, he likes to plan things,he needs plenty of time to get things done and he strives to be neat.
This confused Sherlock even further. John must have known what he wanted to ask, or he wouldn't have asked him.
He gave an example of how John improved with help. When a teacher would notify John that it is time to change classes, he would get aggravated and would want to finish the model he had begun. The teacher talked to him, explaining that in five minutes they will have to leave, and they can come back at lunch if all the other work is completed. John agrees. This technique settled him down. The rest of the day he did his best so he could get back to building his model (Glover, 2010).
In my opinion Dan needs to intensify his Precision and allow himself more time to prepare for assignments. He also needs to tether his Sequence pattern to organize a plan to approach his work for the week. He can also ask the professor to explain his assignments more if he does not understand it. He needs to also intensify his confluence so he can feel more comfortable with the risk it takes to complete the assignment. It may also help if he works on his mindset too. He could try and work with a more of a growth mindset instead of a fixed mindset.
Sequence (31)-Use First A perfect example of how I know regardless of the test that I am a Sequenced learner is because I think in phases beginning, middle, and end. For example, as I began my School enrollment, like many other's I applied for Financial Assistance. During the process I continuously found myself asking my Advisor questions like "when this step is complete what is the next and how do I transition into the next set of steps." At times I felt troublesome to him,but he continuously supported me and enjoyed my willingness to stay on track.
The purpose of this technique is to compare the impact of different wordings and sometimes to report the results of both wordings. All in all, it allows people to have greater understanding of the impact of nuances in ways of addressing key issues (Newton 1-3).
That challenge allowed them to use what knowledge they have and try different ways to apply it to create the rule. It is apparent this problem that was posed to the class was a challenge for the students as at the end of the video some students were frustrated which shows signs of struggle. Even though students were frustrated they were not discouraged as Mr. Solomon encouraged then to preserve and helped ignite the curiosity for the students. Another element of the problem solving process standard is ‘reflect on their thinking during the problem solving process.’ Within groups students used each other to reflect on their own and each other’s thinking. Mr. Solomon talks to the different groups throughout the lesson and poses questions to help students analyze their thinking. A specific occurrence of Mr. Solomon providing questions to guide a student in analyzing her thinking is at 4:12. The student had the idea that the relationship would be the number of steps times two. Mr. Solomon encouraged her to try it for the next number of steps to see if her relationship
|another. If you consistently use the same sequence, you will find that this strategy is transferable to many tasks involving sequence. |
It also helps me to schedule the time to do my assignments and work at the same time. When faced with a tough assignment, I was able to utilize my Sequence to get clarification of what the assignment is asking me to do and order the steps I needed to take to complete it. My Precision Learning Pattern drives me to get all of the information that I need to make informed judgments concerning my assignments. With Precision, however, I use my Technical Reasoning Learning Pattern to regulate how much information I truly need. It allows me to recognize what information is relevant and what is not. Also, Technical Reasoning as my "as needed" has been an asset to my success in the class by helping me understand how to make my LCI results work to my advantage. I have used my Confluent Learning Pattern to brainstorm ideas during assignments and it has also been an asset in thinking outside of the box. Understanding the four different patterns allows me to choose the pattern or patterns that I need to apply to certain assignments and situations. By becoming aware of my Learning Patterns and my unique combinations, I am beginning to understand and utilized all of my Learning Patterns to become an intentional learner. Academically and everyday life, my Learning Patterns are working together to help me understand and connect information in the world around
Rationale: Because narrative text, and this text in particular, is organized in a sequence in which one event impacts the next, I selected a sequence organizer to help the students see this succession. This will help the students understand what lead to the culmination of Bargain. Requiring them to select the most important events to put on the ladder and sequence them will build their critical thinking ability. This activity is fitting as
