First is the health and preservation. The government should provide some interesting projects on promote the prevention and health care (World Health Organization, 2007). At present, we can see some cases of elder abuse and age-based discrimination happened in Canada. For example, some employers, medical care workers and service staffs are not treat old adults as well as professional. It is an ageism behavior and there are plenty people don’t have awareness of human rights of old people. Therefore, it is necessary for people to be educated with that, especially the professionals. Furthermore, as far as I am concerned, the quality of life for old Canadian adults not only limits to the basic needs, but also older people want more and more spiritual demand and physical satisfaction. Based on the report, it argued that old adults should also have opportunity to the job and the mandatory retirement should be abolished and employers also need to encourage this positive employment environment. As a result, a professional society would teach people to respect the elderly, satisfy their needs and eliminate the bias of people for them.
The primary care practice is essential to improve the care of our population, our current system is fragmented, but it does show potential for improvement. The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality has listed some areas that will help improve our system. One is “the need for external infrastructure to help primary care practices develop quality improvement” this is done with support to the quality capacity (Agency For Healthcare Research and Quality, 2015). Quality care will include the coordination of care within the system, as well as understanding what needs the patient will have

The institution has also brought provision for older adults in transportation services, meals on wheel and day care center. In 2017, the world population is at 7.5 billion people. China is the most populated country in whole world. It has “1.379 billion” (Google) people making it the largest populated country. China is also the most largest aging population making it have a high life expectancy and the high accelerating aging rate in the world (Zheng, 2012). China has advanced with technology and also with age. Only “three decades ago, only 5 percent of the populations was over 65; today, 123 million people, or 9 percent of the population, are over this age which a report released by the government states that China will be the world's’ most aged society in 2030” (Huang, 2013). Since, China is the most largest aging population this means that less people are dying and more are living. Since, more people are living this means that need of long-term care, health insurance, adjustment of policies and how to make everyone comfortable living. China is the only country that has an older population exceeding 100 million and annually increases at a rate of 3.2. A dependent territory of China is Hong kong that has “7.347 million people” (Google). Hong kong also has a fast growing aged population. Hong kong is also trying to adjust their long-term care system, pensions system and policies to accommodate everyone living situation.

Elderly people living with chronic illnesses can also participate in moderate physical activity.
