I decided to observe a 5 year-old girl. I observed her in a home setting. She wasn’t very active but at times she would throw little tantrums. When I started to observe the five year old she was on her phone. She was playing games. There was a gallon of milk in front of her and she asked her mom if she can have milk. She turned and took a glance at the t.v. The reason she turned was because there was a lot of commotion going on t.v. After a couple of seconds she turned back to her phone and started to play. She started to get frustrated at the game and asked her mom to help her. Her mother didn’t pay much attention to what she said because she was busy. The five year-old started to whine. I believe she got frustrated with the game so she decided to download another game. The game was taking a …show more content…
She kept nagging because it was taking a long time to download. She gave the phone to her mom she can do something about it. She got up and started to walk in circles. She saw a sticker on the wall. She took a double-take on the sticker and then took the sticker off the wall. She walked back to the table and tried to stick the sticker on the gallon of milk. It wouldn’t stick so she decided to rip the sticker in half. She put each half of the sticker on each cheek. She kept playing with those stickers while her mom fixed her phone. Then she put the stickers down on the table and she grabbed a lid that was on the table. She started to bite on it and was next to her mom looking at what her mom was doing on the phone. When her mom told her the game had finished downloading she put the lid back on the table. She sat back down. After she said “Momma how do I do this”, “Momma! Momma!” Her mom asked to see the phone and the 5 year-old stood next to her and said “ Thats not how you do it.” She continued to watch her mom. After a minute she got her phone back, sat back down, and started to play. She
When an intruder came in a women's house, she grabbed a shotgun to protect her kids. Then when the guy came near she said "back up" and pointed the gun at him. Then when he moved closer to her and then she said, without thinking she shot the man. Then the man turned around and stumbled out of the house.
“Oh, there you are” her mother would reply Jordan would giggle, then run back out the back door with no shoes on. For a few days Jordan came inside the house limping on one foot, crying to her mother, “Mommy, I got cactus stuck in my foot” her mother would sit there with tweezers, pulling out each spine from the heel of her foot Jordan flinching each time she yanked one out. As soon as her mother was done, she'd look at her mother thankful she could help her, but still a tear still rolled down her face onto the floor from the surging pain now in her foot. Her mother would look at her in the eyes and repeat “You better learn how to wear your shoes” Jordan would nod, then limp off to her room to take a nap. One day, Jordan opened her eyes, she looked out the door and found her mother to be in the yard digging up cactus in the yard. Jordan made sure to put on some shoes and ran outside hiding around the corner of the house. Her mother saw her peeking around the corner of her house and said “Jordan, do you want to come help me?” Jordan smiled disappearing back around the house. She ran around the other side of the house trying to make her mother to jump. Kristina would giggle and say “Get over here you little turd” Jordan would run up to her mother, hug her, then look up at her saying “I love you mom” as her mother looked down
The window was open, but the window was not big enough for anybody to go in and out of, but it was big enough for somebody to reach in, or a squirrel or something like that could come in. On the table, where she writes, by the window seat, was an old Snickers wrapper. She said, that wasn’t me daddy, I didn’t eat a Snickers and that wasn’t here when I was here before.
Piedad removed the duck and told Deyonnah to, “Finish your snack first.” Deyonnah went back to the snack table and sat down. Deyonnah got up and Ms. Piedad redirected her back to the table to clean up. Deyonnah flopped to the ground, “Bye everybody, bye, bye” she cried. The telephone rang and Ms. Piedad went to answer it. Deyonnah got up and began to climb up the cubby to get the popcorn. Ms. Chantel went to the cubby and removed the popcorn. Deyonnah hit Ms. Chantel and cried, “Why you crying?” Ms. Chantel told her, “Its ok, don’t cry. I’ll give you a napkin.” Ms. Chantel placed the napkin on the table and gave Deyonnah more popcorn. Deyonnah ate a handful then got up, ran to the carpet area and ran in circles around the stool. She then went back to the table and ate a few more pieces of popcorn, then ran back to the stool and ran in circles. Ms. Piedad prompted Deyonnah to go back to the table and helped her throw her stuff away. Deyonnah then grabbed the toys from the table, ran to the cabinet and got the whisper phone then went back to the table and began to eat her classmate’s popcorn. When her classmate returned to the table Deyonnah ran back to the carpet area and ran in
They ask if they can come in and use the phone to call there mom. Puzzled by this question Shelley asks them don't they have there own cell phone. Both kids turned to look at one another like they were going to say something to one another, but neither ever spoke. “I’m playing Super Mario Bros 3. I’ll come in a few seconds,” I responded, “Can I finish this level first please?” My mother nonchalantly walked toward me, ignoring my reply. It made sense, as I was only in second grade, and my opinion
“Hold these, please,” he said. He handed two fluffy spheres to her. She held one in one hand, and inspected the other one in her other hand. She turned it around a bit, then saw it had a face!
As her mother told her the amazing news, she was going to have another baby, Analeigh was shocked. She just knew better than to let her true feelings show, instead a grin appeared on the twelve year old's face as she told her mom how amazing that was and how excited she was to be a big sister. Because that's what's expected of a Remington. As soon as possible she excused herself before running up to her bedroom and shutting the door quicker then she ever had in the past. She turned on some music, loud but not loud enough to lead anyone coming up to her room just to tell her to turn it down but still loud enough so that no one would hear her cry. Analeigh threw herself on her bed before the tears started streaming and sobs started escaping her
She went to the table asking, "Do you want more?" pointing to the empty glass. The girl responded, "I want another sprite, please." and turned back to the big phone with the pink case in her hand.
Emma had a sudden idea! Her tooth would be stuck in the pipes. She yelled for her daddy to get the tooth out.

I did not observe any stair stepping, ball catching, throwing or kicking. However, she did successfully climb into a chair. After introducing myself and asking her some questions to get to know her, I discovered that this child had clear speech, was easy to understand, did not stutter over her words and used complete sentences of at least 3 words if not more. She was excited to show me things she was presently doing in class, such as her coloring word book. When coloring with her I discovered she colored inside the lines most the time, easily copied shapes and letters.
Screech! As she pulled into the driveway for the second time that day, she heard a gut wrenching sound like nails on a chalkboard, screams.. She walked in the daycare to see her son clinging to the floor while the children and workers bundled around him. “ Mrs.Swampie please control your son he is out hand right now!” In frustration, Mrs.Swampie yanked Jonah’s ear, dragged him to the car, and raced him to his grandma’s home so she could deal with him. Jonah glanced outside the window and saw grandma’s house. Jonah BURST into excitement and unfastened his seatbelt, opened the car door, and beamed towards grandma’s front door. DING DONG. “Who is it ?” “Gwammy it’s me
