Thank you very much for writing me a recommendation letter for the diversity fellowship. A recommendation from you will go a long way in helping me get this opportunity. Now that I have all of my application materials, I am excited to submit everything by the februrary1 deadline. Whether or not I get chosen for the fellowship, I am glad that I applied. I am also very lucky to have a respected communications professional like you recommend me for such a great opportunity. Don’t worry about mailing in the recommendation, just email it to me and I will send it with my application packet. Thank you for all your help.
I am applying for the Communication internship position. I am enthusiastic about the opportunity working for your organization. I became aware of the opportunity online and also through my professors at High Point University.
We're looking for alum of all ages, all races, all abilities, all religions, all orientations and all genders to join the Diversity Alumni Council!
I am writing this letter to thank you for your generous $700 Overstreet Scholarship. I am so appreciative and thankful for this opportunity and was so shocked that I was eligible for this. Receiving the scholarship was and still is such an amazing feeling inside for me and shows me I have more potential than I thought. I was selected as the recipient of your scholarship and have never been more grateful for the opportunity that you chose me and recognized me as an individual.
I am very interested in participating in the SIUE Diversity Summer camp because I am very passionate about healthcare and I also want to become a pediatrician when I am older. I am currently in medical terminology, chemistry I, and health occupations. In these classes, I do very well in, and it makes me more interested in becoming a nurse. I also am on the board for Health Occupations Student of America (HOSA). I am leading a committee called the thirst project where you raise money for people to get clean water in third world countries. In HOSA I have designed the school shirt and helped represent the club at events. I am also apart of three other clubs in which I am thoroughly active in and while maintaining all A's in school. Please let this letter serve as recommendation for an extremely gifted young lady. It has been my extreme pleasure to have known Kim Renoj now for the better part of 2 years. Kim has been in my athletic training program for the past 2 years. She has been an extremely hard working and valuable asset to my team. To be an athletic trainer requires a lot of long hours, dedication, all while having a great attitude in sometimes extreme weather situations. For example arriving at the football field house at 5:30 am an hour before everyone else does and starting to tend to our athletes as they arrive. Also having to set up the field and cover football practices in 100+ degree Fahrenheit weather while the rest of her classmates still have 3 weeks left of summer is not easy. Also covering a playoff game and being alert in 30 degree weather takes some mental toughness. All these things require an extremely positive attitude and thick skin. As athletic trainers, we are definitely behind the scenes, and we do not always get recognized. To continue to do your job at a high level day in and day out while getting
I am writing this letter to thank you from the bottom of my heart for granting me the Robert A. and Mary Neal Culver Scholarship. I have been working very hard throughout my college experience and receiving this scholarship is truly a blessing and a reminder of how my hard work has paid off. The extra money will help pay off my tuition for next year which will greatly help ease the stress about paying for my junior year, and my mother and I are truly thankful for having the extra help. I will continue to work hard and achieve all my goals on the next couple of years, and I will never give up on my dreams and aspirations. Thank you for being a part of my success, and just know that your help is truly valued.
Women have had a rough way to go for many years when it comes to equality. They face many negative things in today’s society and that is the way it has been for many years. History shows that women have been fighting for equality for decades, because many people believe they just can’t do the things that men can. There’s a website that has been helping women fight for that equality since 1966. That website is www.now.org. Before then women never really had any help. They had to rely on each other to show everyone what they could really do. Women have fought to try and end discrimination when it comes to jobs and economic justice. So the status of women throughout history has changed,
Hello, I hope all is well at the clinic. This is Alexus Harris, I volunteered during the past summer at the clinic. I am emailing to ask if you could write me a letter of recommendation. I am applying to be an Resident Advisor(RA) at UVa next year. I really think I would be a great RA! I can help the student transition to college and be the extra support for the students. Also, unlike many people at UVa, I promote diversity of race, cultures, and religions. I would create a welcoming and supportive atmosphere for my hall, if I were to be accepted as an RA. Also, I conduct myself well in college and do well in class, therefore, I would be a great role model to the first year students. The recommendation form is somewhat short. It has like 15
I hope you are doing well. I would like to thank you so much for your amiability and kindness. As I spend a considerable part of my time reading about your institution's educational atmosphere, my desire to be among your bright students increases. That is, I am doing my best to let you know who I am, and prove that Franklin and Marshall College is the only perfect place for me. Besides, because I always ask my professors for ways to successfully give you a clear image of my personality and motivations, they got pleased to write additional letters of recommendations in order to help me to reach what I am looking for. That is, I would like to ask you whether my professors should directly send you their letters , or upload them through the common
Diversity refers to our differences such as culture, beliefs, values, views and life experiences. The concept of diversity is to accept, respect and embrace our differences. When people with these differences unite and share the same group or organization we see a diverse environment. Working in a childcare setting, we have the potential to work with an abundance of diversity. This can be very rewarding but can also pose challenges. Positively, we have the opportunity to promote the sense of individuality, sense of pride and belonging by providing a safe and nurturing environment. Discussing each other’s differences is a great way to learn and become aware of the differences in the world. One example of promoting
A diversity scholar is an academically minded student who promotes diversity and evolvement in campus and community activities. We came to Western Oregon University to further develop our education and experience a fully enriched college life. A diversity scholar exemplifies excellence in academia, shows leadership qualities through volunteering, successfully balances school and social life, supports diversity on campus, and actively participates with school sanctioned events.
I am writing this letter to respectfully ask for your support in helping me become one of the many distinguished cadets at the United States Military Academy. I have achieved so much in my 16 years of life and being appointed into the academy will be very well-deserving and forthcoming to all the amazing opportunities that the academy has to offer. I have worked tremendously hard to obtain a 4.0 gpa and maintain a class rank in the top 100 of my 1000 person class. With your help I can hopefully be appointed as a West Point candidate for the class of 2022.
To participate in the Diversity Project would be excellent experience to partake in research and gain knowledge on integrative approach towards the study of biodiversity of coral reef ecosystems. Through field work and laboratory training, I would be participating in laboratory research which will complement career development that will help with successfully applying to graduate school and choosing a career. With this experience it will enhance my academic goals by allowing me to get a firsthand experience in collaborating with other researchers and help them in their research. With this it will help in my academic goals because with this research I could use the experience as an internship class required for my major and possible use it for
It is with sincere interest that I am writing to apply for the summer internship position as Human Resources with TCHC as advertised through an email from receiving the TCHC Diversity Scholarship. I know my studies in Biomedical Science has no direct relevance to this job position; however, I been a resident of a TCHC in the Regent Park Community for the past 18 years. I believe I can make a positive impact in my community, as shown through my many volunteer experiences that would help me excel in this position.
I hope you are having a great time in Chicago. I have attached a draft of the nomination letter. I am uncomfortable with self promotion but I tried very hard to justify my qualification. Hope you can utilize this for your letter. Please let me know what you think of this draft.
