Given the highly competitive nature of today’s markets we as a company must provide high quality products to survive. Quality itself has become a major competitive factor and in many ways is a contributing factor in success or failure. The intent of this memo is to identify, explain and evaluate the three types of cost associated with quality.

CLEAR is great for those individuals that would like to use this product as a supplement to their daily vitamin regimen or as an additive to their green tea to maximize absorption of the antioxidants and other wonderful health benefits in green tea.

Concerning the quality of education offered and the employee’s needs to be an active participant in the quality improvement process, and thus they should feel that they are responsible for the quality provided. This implies that the employees should be encouraged to make suggestions that are geared towards improving the quality offered through airing their opinions without fearing the unknown circumstances that may arise such as reprisal. This week’s assignment is about evaluating the quality issues of three organizations. The three sectors I chose to evaluate are manufacturing, service and government. I will then discuss the importance of quality to each organization, the relationship of quality to customers, the leadership commitment to quality and the alignment of quality to the organization’s strategic goals and objectives.

The quality inside the operation is also important. If someone makes a mistake within the operation, time and money must be spent correcting this mistake.

The ability to integrate, knowledge, skills, and self-practice, in addition to knowing when a situation requires the involvement of other workers is vital to a successful agency. “The competent worker is able to play a variety of roles; understands the wide applicability of the problem-solving process; is not imprisoned in a specialty; is challenged by variety, and is able to apply relevant but perhaps diverse knowledge and procedures to work situations” (Halley et al).

Quality of conformance includes technology, manpower and management while availability focuses on reliability, maintainability and logistics support. Juran emphasized that good service quality composed of promptness, competence and integrity. Like Deming, Juran advocated a never-ending spiral of activities that includes market research, product development, design, production process control and inspection and testing, followed by customer feedback. In his view, senior management may play an active and enthusiastic leadership role in the quality management process.
