I chose my memoir for AP English Language and Composition as my best piece because it’s received a ninety percent and is the written work I’m most proud of. The reader should expect to find information about me that one wouldn’t know by simply looking at me. One will find how overcoming my own challenges and one that was thrown at me made the person I am today. One would discover my passion and determination to pursue a career in family law. The impressions I hope the reader gains about myself after viewing this piece is that I am a methodical writer as well as a psychological person who tends to hide it. As a result of of completing this assignment I learned that I can write powerful pieces. I had a revelation that what I’ve gone through
Both your Huck Finn assignment and your nonfiction assignment must be turned into turnitin.com before the first day of school. Your assignments will not count if they have not been turned in!
WRD 103: With a very busy theatre class schedule I was limited to which teachers I could choose from, and was left to about two. I put both teachers names in Rate my Professor, the magical site that lets you know about the experiences other students had with almost any teacher at your desired university. Michael Moore had significantly higher ratings, and he had comments that said how he was an amazing teacher and really wants students to learn. After reading this I told my fellow students that I found a good teacher in a time slot that worked and we put the class into our course cart. I never realized that this small choice of deciding who was going to be my professor for English would influence my life so heavily. This class has given me so many new experiences and has offered me so much. From finding a new outlook for a news source, to how I should write, to even learning more about myself through simple conversation. I can’t
May you send me the mistakes that I had in the Mid term Exam to modify them.
YOUR TASK 1: You will begin today in class before the last day. You will discuss about your WebQuest and review the task to understand what is required to complete each task.
It just turned 7pm when I finally finished my A.P English assignment. I always hand in assignments early for extra credit. Has a bonus when it comes to college applications. I am a Hastings after all...
I don't really know what to discuss here so this may not be the best discussion assignment you've ever seen. I've obviously been falling behind on some of my assignments, but now I have time to actually work on iSchool, so my grade should go up soon hopefully. I've been trying to improve my grade recently by doing all of the work I missed, so that should all be sent to you by the end of this weekend. I honestly only took this class so I could get ahead and start English 5-6 next year, rather than English 3-4 since I'm hoping to have almost all my credits by senior year, so I'll start working harder soon. I already talked to my counselor about this, but I'm wondering if there's a way that once I finish English 3, I can immediately start English
In an age where the printed novel has been somewhat on the decline, and the necessity of readable fiction has almost faded into obscurity. I believe that literature still harbours a crucial part within our society; from the very foundations of most theatrical adaptations, to preserving the culture and encapsulating the feelings of generations past. In this case literature cements itself as one of the most decisive elements of our civilisation, and combining it with history makes it become a testament to who we are as people, as well as the conservation of both our progression and degradation. I have always enjoyed reading literature, from reading J.R.R Tolkien’s classic ‘Lord of the Rings’ trilogy within my childhood, to perhaps more sophisticated,
LISA North scholars will choose either Wuthering Heights or The Namesake to read for AP Lit summer reading. We will use Google Classroom to discuss both books over the course of the summer. Each scholar will complete a CSRQ’d DIDLS with evidence from the text.
When a person composes their work, they allow their ideas to dilate into a story that takes their reader into a journey. The journey is not merely for the reader, but for the author. The author gain a writing experience from their journey that guides when they write other material. All writing experiences are depending on the person. Their writing experience can drive them to regularly add more details to enrich their story. On the other hand, a writer can be compelled to critique their work to enhance it. As a writer, I grasped many lessons from my own experience. One of my most memorable writings was a story in addition to a thought-provoking essay. This memorable writing experience was my research paper for my 12th grade English class.
The experience of writing a personal narrative essay was engrossing. I learned a lot about my thought process, my manner of analysis and my writing procedure for this genre. Furthermore, I understood the difference between a literature review and the
I remember the beginning of my newly found interest was like a fresh of breath air; original, I know. I spent endless hours writing, and writing about whatever it may be that came to mind. It was an addiction that costed my sleep and meals. What began as a hobby to satisfy my loud mind became daily scribbles on a notebook whenever an idea popped up during class. I am as proud as proud can be of my writing alter ego because it was something that manifested when I sought out to find something in me. It’s mine, purely me in every word. Amateur I may be, but this fiery passion that burns in me every single day is what keeps me going.
As of this year, I will be a senior in AP Literature and Composition. Originally, I planned to pursue this course in my junior year, but was apprehensive due to the workload. However, this year, I look forward to being apart of this class and aim to be a productive student.
In the following pages, I will be expressing the key points and lessons learned during the past seven weeks which had the most significant impact on my writing abilities. By the same token, I will give a brief description of how I utilized those lessons in the essays I will add to my writing portfolio.
I don't know if you'll be my teacher or not for this upcoming year, but do you mind clarifying the honors English assignment for me? I was wondering if I am suppose to read the entire book of Walden or only those specific chapters for the dialectal journal. Sorry for bothering you on your summer vacation.
