During our session, I asked the participant a series of questions that focused on his goals and how he planned to obtain them. Becoming a Psychiatric Mental Health Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (PMH-APRN) would allow me to prescribe certain medications (depending on the state’s law I live in) and administering psychotherapy. One of the proudest moments of my life is graduating with my Bachelor’s degree in social work.
