The Future. If I could have my ideal future, I think it would be what people consider the American dream. Meaning a husband, children and a stable job, in my case a therapist. Although the American dream is much more than that, those are some pretty basic aspects of it. I think everyone strives to have those things I listed, but in terms of how those things will help me here at Georgia College and in my future goals the only one that really fits is my hope of having a job as a therapist.
Goals we all have them big or small, we each have something we want to accomplish, but the big question always is, how do we accomplish it. Well for me, I have goals in life daily and longer term. Daily goals would be like finish psychology paper or make it to the gym sometime today. My more long terms goals relate specifically to my college degree, such as complete college in four years, get into a good

Now that my goals are listed out and articulated into a time frame it really helps to put things into perspective of what needs to happen now. For instance I am just starting out in bobcats against hunger as an executive board member. I hope this position will bring out some more leaderships skills within me that will help me later in life, like when I apply for graduate schools and in the real world working hopefully doing my dream job. That is just yet another example of something that will help gear my towards my end goal. If no one ever set goals where would we be today? It is an interesting question and one that makes me thankful that we all set goals daily and achieve them. For example if I did not set a goal to review for a test then come that test I probably wouldn’t pass which would not further me along my aspirations to finish college. So therefore I’m glad I set goals and that everyone else does no matter how big or small they all eventually lead to something
Goals are something that each individual should have, however, they can be short term or long term. My short term goal over the next year; I would like to
Everyone has aspirations, some tend to be more steadfast, others last only a short amount of time. A goal is something we aim for, something that we try our best to keep a firm grip on.
I believe that goals can give me strong motivations and guide me in a right way to pursue them. My short-term goal is to
“Broken crayons still color,” is my all-time favorite quote. Throughout everyone’s life, there has been situations where they have felt broken or second guessed whether they could keep going. Everyone deserves to overcome any limitation or barrier restraining them from reaching their fullest potential. Being an Occupational Therapist means being patient, open-minded, and optimistic. People tend to take things for granted as they get so wrapped up in their surroundings and in the people around then. We all should take a step back and imagine how different our lives would be if we couldn’t eat independently, get dressed without help, or even bathe alone. My grandmother, who raised my sisters and I, has endured multiple strokes. Before, she has
A one goal that I have set for myself is to keep moving forward into my careers. By moving more into a career will help me achieve better financial issues, less depression, better opportunities, better choices, and a better attitude toward life. Another goal
Everyone should have types of goals in life some bigger some smaller but a set of goals. I feel that is will better help you achieve things you want in life. It will also make it easier to organize your actions. My goal is to become a Security Technician so I will be able to provide for a future family and buy a home.
Many people go through more than rough periods within their lifetime. When people are at their lowest and they think they have nowhere to turn, their life can spiral out of control letting their anxiety and depression define them. Many do not know that family and marriage counselors do more than just listen. Many do not believe in therapist, for whatever their reasoning may be, counselors are more than just people to talk to. They help with words, compassionate connections, and with no use of medication. Although, counselors do not tell their clients what they can and cannot do, instead they do
Having goals is just like having guidelines to your future like little sign posts telling you where you’re at and where your going and if you need to turn back and take a different road. I will write about some of the goals that will take me throughout the next five years to achieve. The goals I’ve set for myself are completing basic training, I will move on and complete my advanced individual training, after that I will graduate and get a spot for airborne school, those are just a few of the first steps and there are more in between that ill talk about.
Everyone has goals in life big or small. I would have to say mine is a pretty big one. That would be me meeting my IEP Plan goals, to get off of the IEP. The process of me striving towards my goals can help
Everyone has their own goals. Some people dream to be a WWE wrestler, others aspire to become a criminal justice attorney. Goals are always varying from person to person. I have goals that I have specified for myself, academically, personally, and professionally.
Goals are future plans and intentions of an individual. They are a fantastic motivational tool, not to mention that they give our lives a deeper sense of purpose. Striving for them and working hard to achieve them can give a roadmap to our actions, and by rearranging our existences around our ambitions, we run a lower risk of wandering off the metaphorical path or letting our short lives on this Earth end without completing all that we wanted to do. Modern civilization is set apart from long gone generations in this sense. While our ancestors were limited to hunting, gathering, and simply keeping the human race alive, the people of recent times are able to rely on those things to be done, and can instead focus on making their dreams a reality. I, too, have a set of goals for my own future.
As an imaginative person, I like to think of things in a very creative way. This has made me very artistic and musical. My personal goals include that I sing with my full potential, and that I be an excellent chef, I can eat healthy more easily. In addition, I will experience life's big milestones, like graduation, marriage, children, and even old age. I also want to exercise more and live a
As a child and even as a teenager one tends to make dreams and set goals for life. On occasion these goals are far stretched and sometimes even fairy-tale like, we tend to see life through a rose-colored glass, not taking into account the many sidetracks life throws our way. At that stage in life our goals tend to be less focused and somewhat unreachable. However, the process of growing up, or maturing, tends organized and center our goals, we learn to make compromises and set goals for our goals. There are different types of goals, short term and long term. I have learned to separate the many goals I have into three main categories: family, professional and personal.
My future dream job is to be the CEO of a company. I know that it will take a while to get there, so I am plan on studying business administration first, then, work my way up to the position that I want. In the future, I also want to be settled in a nice home where I can raise my future children, and living in Seattle, Washington. One goal that I wish to accomplish when I get older, is to buy my parents a house to give back for the sacrifices they have made for me, and for teaching me how to deal with the difficulties of life. The quality of life I want in the future will be a good one. I will achieve my goals and surround myself with people that will bring me happiness.
Everyone should have personal goals that evolve around anything that needs to be accomplished. I set goals on a daily basis. One goal that I seem to have not truly focused on has been my college education. Considering all things, I decided I needed to focus on my college education. The first thing I needed to accomplish was to enroll in an institution for higher learning. Now that my enrollment is complete, I am an official student at the University enrolled in the undergraduate program for business management. As a student at the university, I now have to set personal goals so that I will be successful in my endeavors. My personal goals are to gain personal growth and development and graduate from my undergraduate program in business
