Summary Introduction

Introduction:

The scientific method is also known as hypothesis testing. This method is normally followed to formulate and test the validity of a hypothesis. It is a five-step process in which observations are made regarding a phenomenon. These observations lead to a hypothesis that is tested to make specific predictions. Experiments are conducted to determine the correctness of the predictions. The data from the experiment are analyzed and concluded that the hypothesis is considered to be consistent with the data, or it is rejected.
