At the middle school level, it is difficult to administer extensive interminable assessments, when you are trying to determine readability for over 100 students. Many middle school teachers rely on the NWEA/MAP assessment and “Standard of Learning” to provide them with their student’s Lexile levels and readability. The problem with using data from the NWEA/MAP assessment and SOL scores is that teachers only have data from the previous year and are unable to assess the factors that contributed to the students testing scores. A quick and easy assessment that can be given the first week of school, which takes 10 minutes or less and shows word recognition as well as readability is the San Diego Quick Assessment.

This year the dropping rate for Bakersfield is of 14 percent; however kern county has the highest dropping rates. It has become a major problem and we need to come out with a efficient solution. I agree that we should come with a similar law that will help getting more truant students to attend school.

I agree with the need for reducing the duplicative and redundant services. I think the focused factory would be a reasonable approach and one I had not considered.
Social responsibility and customer intimacy appears to be NBB’s most important competitive advantage and the cornerstone of the company’s strategic focus. According to the Ferrell and Hartline, NBB had a pre-existing ethical culture established between branding and corporate citizenship, well before the company entered into the marketing department (Ferrell & Hartline, 2014). The firm's core values and beliefs is defined clearly in their mission statement that was created in 1991 (Ferrell & Hartline, 2014). Although Kumon has been in existence in the US for 10 years now, you have still not implemented a corporate global strategy which will allow for success in the US. This wider spectrum of SKB 's enabled me to identify the most important ones desired in the consultancy field. One of the skills I have obtained during my higher education is analytical skill. This is crucial skill in order to become successful in consultancy . Without good analysis of the business no further steps like creative thinking can be started . I have attempted many tasks during the seminars where I had to understand different businesses in terms of strategy, culture, and ethic; identify problems and deciding what aspects are more important to the business or just identifying new opportunities for the organizations. Diversity of the tasks gave me an idea and has taught me how to approach the analysis of the businesses.
